Sales Engineer (SE) for EU/MB/SI: As part of the Sales organization, the jobs function is to increase The companys market share in the Midlands region including Wales, with focus on new business and development of existing accounts. Target Industries : Automotive, Packaging, Medical, Food & Beverage. Support from the Company : Application Engineer / Customer Satisfaction Group, Marketing. Specific Responsibilities SE reports to a District Sales Manager (DSM). Analyze with DSM various strategies to address existing and potential markets in his territory with focus on large End-Users, Machine Builders and System Integrators, Implement agreed strategies Identify and qualify New Accounts Regular reporting to direct management on visits, monthly forecast, etc. Direct Sales Channel : Identify and approach large End User customers directly. Provide input for application staging and customer demonstrations, Organize and manage application demonstrations for customers with the help of the UK Application Engineer team located in Milton Keynes. Develop and present proposals for vision systems, Apply the Companys general policies in terms of price and payment terms. Indirect Sales Channel : Team-up with existing system integrators and identify new opportunities. Use system integrators to indirectly address small volume customers, Provide system integrators with qualified leads, Develop and implement sales strategies with system integrators, Support system integrators in their sales campaigns. Location The position is based from the companys office in the Midlands. Extensive traveling in his territory as well as occasionally to Europe and to the US is to be expected. Requirements UK National Engineering degree in Electronics or Automation advantageous however candidates with a lower qualification will also be considered providing they have a strong knowledge of Automation / Vision technologies. 5-year professional experience in sales of Factory Automation Products (PLCs, Automation Software, etc.) and-or Vision / Image Processing Software to Manufacturing Industries. Autonomous, hard-working, perseverant, organized, enthusiastic and creative within the respect of the Companys policies. Excellent communication skills, (internally and at customers all levels). Team player, comfortable with highly competitive environment. Familiar with quota-bearing position and way of working at US firms
